Rural Community Care (RCC) is a non-partisan, non-racial, non-sectarian and non-profit Organization founded on the spirit of charity and registered under the Laws of South West state of Somalia. The organization is committed to playing a pivotal role in reduction of poverty existing amongst poor rural communities.

Our target communities are marginalized and minority groups. These communities are perceived to be the most vulnerable members of the Somalia society. RCC therefore strives to work by empowering communities to attain sustainable Livelihoods.

The organization is being established to be the premier in Championing for the rights of the
under privileged Somalia citizens through enhanced advocacy and awareness creation. This idea was conceived in 2010 and documented in 2007 as a full fledge NGO, but due changing
needs in Somalia Government and citizens, it became necessary to broaden the services, so
as to offer multidisciplinary approach to not only poverty alleviation institution, but also
offer consultancy and capacity building services in Project Management, Emergency
Response and Disaster, Knowledge Management, Basic ICT skills, Monitoring and Evaluation.
This services targets Managers at various sectors and levels in Somalia economy. 

Being a post conflict country, the post ware experience provided a lesson that marks a road map on how prepared the county is. This call for urgent need to diversify the approach by not only providing humanitarian intervention, but also offer solutions through consultancies to existing institutions that need the services and support. This is provided through the organization consulting wing. Further, RCC works by employing principals and associates who are highly qualified and specialized in community development and have the ability to work independently in their specialization. Where we have a deficit, the organization works in partnership and outsourcing of professional to handle problems to the end.
