WHERE WE WORK

Focus Areas in Somalia

At Rural Community Care (RCC), our operations are primarily concentrated in Somalia, where we address the pressing needs of marginalized communities. Our strategic focus is on areas that are most affected by poverty, conflict, and displacement.

Baidoa

Baidoa, the capital of the Southwest State, is a key area for our initiatives. We work to improve access to education and healthcare, providing vital resources to internally displaced persons (IDPs) and vulnerable populations. Our projects in Baidoa aim to enhance livelihood opportunities and promote community resilience.

Dinsor

In Dinsor, we implement programs that focus on emergency response and disaster preparedness. This region faces significant challenges due to conflict and environmental factors. Our efforts include providing immediate relief aid and capacity-building initiatives to support local organizations.

Hudur

Hudur is another critical area where we operate, focusing on empowering communities through vocational training and economic development. We aim to foster entrepreneurship and create job opportunities, helping residents build sustainable livelihoods.

Mogadishu

In the capital city, Mogadishu, we engage in advocacy and civic education initiatives. Our programs aim to raise awareness about human rights and promote gender equality, ensuring that marginalized voices are heard and represented.

Expanding Our Reach

While our primary focus is on these regions, RCC remains committed to expanding our reach throughout Somalia. We collaborate with local and international partners to identify emerging needs and adapt our programs accordingly. Together, we strive to create lasting change and empower communities across the country.
